At this site, we will make available resources to enhance and illuminate the mathematics of the book Indra's Pearls, by David Mumford, Caroline Series and David Wright, published by Cambridge University Press.

• Wonders of Kleinian Groups: Graduate Colloquium delivered at the University of Minnesota, November 30, 2004. The slides featured graphic works of Jos Leys. (see below)


• Double Cusp Group: Detailed discussion of double cusp group in December, 2004 issue of the Notices of the American Math. Society. Here are a few links and online versions of that article.

• Searching for the Cusp: Paper written at the Newton Institute about maximal cusp Kleinian groups. It also discusses the beautiful Doyle circle packings. It appears in Spaces of Kleinian Groups, Minsky, Sakuma, Series, eds., 2006.

  • Searching for the Cusp: the slides that went with my talk on this paper. They're more comprehensible with someone actually talking about them.
  • Doyle Packings: slides for an earlier expository talk I gave on these spiral circle packings. Again it would make more sense with the actual talk.


• Indra's Pearls: The Course: Nine brave souls, undergraduates and graduates, agreed to let me guide them through this torturous book in Spring, 2004. We did both the math and the programming and barely made it to Chapter 8. The web site needs a lot of work.


• Jos Leys' Kleinian Groups graphics! Jos Leys (Belgium) has created many galleries of masterworks (using UltraFractal) to display the beauty of Kleinian Groups. It's an amazing body of work that goes far beyond Indra's Pearls.

• Posters! Some fancy graphics in PDF format suitable for printing on large format paper.
